Daniel La Spatta

Throughout the world there are a lot of communities’ leaders and heroes. One of these leaders is Daniel La Spatta. This man has many qualities as a leader. He’s a kind, loving, caring, hardworking, and very organized, and he works good with other people. These are all good qualities that are needed in leaders throughout the world. During our interview, I noticed he’s open to many new ideas.
There are all types of work these leaders and heroes can do in our community. The job that Daniel has gotten him to become a hero. Daniel started off at LSNA by doing volunteer work at the age of 23 and then he moved up to housing development. He works with people who become homeless to try to figure out why they became homeless and what they can do to change that. He has to go through a lot of research to get to the root cause of the problem. He goes and visits these people and talks to them and gets to know them and tries to help out. He’s gotten his church involved in their community action work.
He’s a hard working young man. Other than helping out the community he’s a very outgoing person. He loves to try new things with all new types of people. Daniel likes to learn all new types of things that might be to help out with his community work. He’s a very interesting person after you get to know a little about him.
He’s a strong confident person who is a hero for the work he does in his community. His parents always backed up the whole way. Also he chooses to help and devote his time to these people he doesn’t even know. I know that must be difficult because it’s hard getting people involved. To try to get your community involved is hard. He’s even said the hardest thing is “keep people engage in things that take a long time to accomplish.” said Daniel. He doesn’t quit though. He fights and gets people involved. The way he defines community is “a group of people helping each other out and working together to accomplish one goal.” said Daniel. This is the community hero that I interviewed and his work that he does will never be forgotten.
